Wind Advisory (March 11-12)

02/24/2026

Washington State Department of Transportation

Repairs to US 12 Lewiston-Clarkston Interstate Bridge will result in several brief closures, Feb. 25-26

Work to make repairs to the US 12 Lewiston-Clarkston Interstate Bridge will take place Feb. 25- 26.

Crews will perform maintenance and repairs to address mechanical issues that impact bridge lift operations, which caused a brief delay in January 2026. To complete this work, several 30-minute bridge closures will occur between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. These closures will allow crews to operate the bridge lift as needed to carry out the repairs.

The United States Coast Guard requires the bridge to be a functional drawbridge, as there are occasional requests to raise it to allow personal watercraft to pass. A 30-foot-high vessel requires a bridge to be raised regardless of depth. This work is planned to maintain proper bridge operations.
