Celebrating the acheivements of the Parent Mentor Program is always one of the biggest highlights of the year. The resilience, dedication and strength of everyone involved from the parents, teachers, organizers and those that support the program will forever be an energizing experience.

Update on Castañon-Nava Settlement to Release Hundreds of Detained Community Members

In a much needed victory for our communities, on November 12, a federal judge ruled that up to 615 people could be eligible for release on bond or Alternatives to Detention, in addition to 13 people who are eligible for immediate release.

This progress is only possible because Rapid Response Teams and community members across Illinois continue to document ICE and CBP activity. Your vigilance is saving lives.

But there's more work to do to keep our communities safe, informed, and intact.

Stay tuned for more information on how families can check eligibility for relief under this week’s ruling.

In the meantime, here’s how you can help:

Donate to the bond fund: mibfc.org
Sign up for a Know Your Rights workshop & find legal help: trpimmigrantjustice.org
Report ICE activity in Illinois: ICIRR Family Support Network hotline at 1-855-435-7693
