We’re excited to announce that a brand-new playground is coming to Amsterdam Park!

To make way for the new equipment, the current playground will begin to be dismantled starting today. We know this temporary closure may be an inconvenience, but the wait will be short — the new playground is expected to open in just over a week.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during the transition and can’t wait for families to enjoy the updated playground very soon!

The 2026 Town of New Castle Road Race was a huge success! Over 250 runners joined us this past Sunday, bringing amazing energy and community spirit.

A big shoutout to our 1-mile fun run participants, our youngest runners were truly a highlight of the day.
