Event Notice: Pleasantville Firefighters Parade – Friday, May 29

The annual Pleasantville Firefighters Parade is scheduled for Friday, May 29, at 7:00PM. To accommodate the event, temporary no parking regulations will be posted and in effect throughout the downtown area from 4:00PM. to 9:00PM.
The parade will step off at 7:00PM in front of the library and will proceed down Bedford Road, through Memorial Plaza, up Manville Road to Grove Street, and down Edgewood Avenue to the Washington Avenue Firehouse (see map below).
Please be advised of the following road closures in support of the parade:
• Manville Road (Great Oak Lane to Grant Street): 5:00PM to 9:00PM
• Washington Avenue (Manville Road to Edgewood Avenue): 4:00PM to 11:00PM
• Edgewood Avenue (Washington Avenue to Great Oak Lane): 5:00PM to 9:00PM
• Grove Street (Manville Road to Edgewood Avenue): 5:00PM to 9:00PM
• Memorial Plaza (Bedford Road to Manville Road): 5:00PM to 9:00PM
• Bedford Road (Clark Street to Marble Avenue): 5:00PM to 9:00PM

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony Delayed:

Due to the weather, this morning's Memorial Day parade and ceremony has been delayed. The parade will step off at 11AM from the Bedford Road School and proceed down Bedford Road to Memorial Plaza where ceremonies will be held in the civic space. Parade participants should begin lining up at 10:30AM

Agendas for Village Board Work Session and Regular Meeting – Tuesday, May 26, 2026-

The Village Board of Trustees will hold an Executive Session at 6:00pm to discuss personnel and real property matters, a Work Session at 7:00pm and a Regular Meeting at 8:00pm with a continued discussion of a public hearing to consider Introductory Local Law No. 4 of 2026 at 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

The proposed local law would amend the Village Code to permit organized sporting events on fields within Village parks beginning at 9:00AM on Sundays, rather than the current 11:00am start time.
