Good day for the Big Country Wheat Tour. Little chilly start but lots of good information.

Forage plots ready for the tour tomorrow. Look for the sign on FM 603 to give you directions to the plots. Registration at 8:00 am with program starting at 8:30. Offering 1 CEU at these plots and 2 CEU in Tuscola. Come out and see which varieties you might plant next year. It is FREE!!!!!

Don’t forget about Friday. Starts at 8:30, come and look at the plots in Eula. Offering 1 CEU and then move over to Tuscola. The plots at Eula are off FM 603 and County Road 250.

Sign up for the Big Country Wheat Tour on Friday May 8th. It is free and will be offering 3 CEU. Call the Extension office at 325-854-5835 to RSVP by May 5th.

It was a pleasure to spend the day teaching 5th-grade students from Baird, Eula, and Cross Plains the basics of fishing. The students had a wonderful time participating in the fishing program and enjoying the outdoors. Several students experienced the thrill of catching their first fish.
