Our staff works very hard to make sure students have exposure to college and career options. We are working to grow the skilled trade offerings on our campus. As you may have heard, Yale Public Schools secured a $388,000 grant to create a skilled trades exposure class.

The 2026 bond proposal would add a Skilled Trades area inside the existing High School Media Center which is a conversion of space the district already owns, not new construction.

The heating and ventilation system at Yale High School is over 30 years old. Replacement parts for the units and the control systems have become very difficult to find. The replacement of this system was originally slated to occur in the 2021 bond project. Cost escalations from the pandemic of 30% required the district to remove this work to stay under budget.

If passed, the heating units in each classroom, boilers, controls, etc. would all be replaced.

Thank you to everyone that participated in our Halloween milk jug contest! We were so impressed with the creativity of our AES students. 🧡 The milk jugs will be on display throughout the media center next week during the book fair.

If passed the November Bond would include additional driveways for Farrell-Emmett and Avoca Elementary Schools. The driveways would be added on our existing property and will make for safer drop off and pick up for students and parents.

Kenockee Township Fire Department is amazing! Avoca Elementary was so fortunate to have learned about Fire Safety from the Kenockee Township Firefighters, three of whom are AES alumni! Thank you for helping to keep our students, families and community safe! ❤️🤍💙
