๐Ÿš“๐Ÿ”ฅ Building relationships, creating experiences, and inspiring future leaders!

Students participating in the Albemarle Police Department Junior Police Academy spent some time today at the City of Albemarle Fire Department, where they got an up-close look at the fire department, firefighting equipment, and emergency vehicles. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš’

This Community Outreach Program connects middle school students with law enforcement and first responders through hands-on experiences, physical training, and community engagement. From K-9 demonstrations and fishing at City Lake to tours of public safety facilities throughout Stanly County, students are gaining valuable insight into careers dedicated to serving others. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™Œ

A big thank you to the Albemarle Police Department, our School Resource Officers, and all of our community partners for helping make this week such a memorable experience!

Tuesday evening, the Stanly County Board of Education had the honor of recognizing a very special student from West Stanly High School, Andrea Smith, for her incredible 8 years as a West Stanly C**t Cheerleader. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ“ฃ

Andreaโ€™s spirit, joy, and love for others have made a lasting impact both on and off the field. Not only is she an amazing cheerleader, but she is also someone who never leaves others without a laugh and a smile.

It was incredibly special to see the large fan club there to support her Tuesday evening, including teachers, family, and friends who all love and admire Andrea so much.

Andrea, we are so proud of you and all you have accomplished. Best of luck in your next chapter! ๐Ÿ’›
