🏆 Huge congratulations to our Chief Technology Officer, Elliot Brooks, for being named NCLGISA’s 2026 IT Person of the Year!

Presented May 28th by Mr. Mike McKinney, NCLGISA Chair, in front of the entire technology department, this prestigious award honors the legacy and admired character traits of former NCLGISA member, Gray Cassell. There is truly no better match for it than Mr. Brooks.

With 18 years in public education, Mr. Brooks doesn't just manage technology; he leads with profound integrity, work ethic, and heart. He is a true team player who works alongside his staff, champions our personal growth (and sanity!), and constantly raises the bar for the entire district.

Thank you, Mr. Brooks, for modeling compassion, forward-thinking leadership, and excellence daily, and congratulations on your recognition!
