In preparation for the upcoming observance of Undas 2026, personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Catarman Fire Station, headed by 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗔𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗣 𝗗𝗔𝗖𝗨𝗧, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a fire safety awareness campaign through fire truck visibility, and the distribution of fire safety information flyers at Gaisano Grand Mall and Catarman Terminal.
The activity aimed to strengthen public awareness and encourage the community to observe essential fire safety precautions as families prepare to visit cemeteries and memorial parks to honor their departed loved ones.
Through the distribution of informational materials, BFP personnel disseminated important fire prevention reminders to motorists, commuters, business establishments, and the general public. The visibility of fire trucks also served as a reminder of the BFP’s continued commitment to public safety and emergency preparedness during the Undas period.
The public was encouraged to exercise caution when using candles and other ignition sources, ensure that electrical appliances are properly switched off before leaving their homes, avoid unattended open flames, and maintain a safe environment in cemeteries, memorial parks, and surrounding areas.
