The Sekondi Youth Engagement Centre is proud to have successfully hosted Days 1-4 of the transformative UPSHIFT Program, in partnership with UNICEF. Over four intensive days, young innovators in Sekondi engaged in collaborative workshops, honing their skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and social innovation. We are inspired by their dedication and creativity. One day remains in this powerful journey to equip our youth with the tools to become proactive leaders and change-makers in their communities. The future is bright!

Yesterday, the Board of the Ghana Library Authority (GhLA) received the Chairman and members of the Ghana Science Association, who donated several volumes of their "Everyday Science for Schools" magazine to the National Children and Mobile Library.

The donation is a valuable contribution towards promoting reading, strengthening science education, and encouraging curiosity and innovation among children and young people. The magazines will provide young readers with access to scientific knowledge and help them appreciate the relevance of science in their everyday lives.

The Ghana Library Authority appreciates the Ghana Science Association for this thoughtful gesture and its commitment to advancing science education and knowledge-sharing.

Through partnerships such as this, GhLA continues to strengthen its efforts to provide children with access to diverse learning resources that inspire discovery, nurture creativity, and support lifelong learning.

From Legacy to Knowledge, From Knowledge to Opportunity.

The Ghana Library Authority (GhLA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the AfCFTA Young Entrepreneurs Federation (AfYEF) to support the development of the John Dramani Mahama Presidential Library & Legacy Centre (JDM-PLLC).

As a partner in this initiative, GhLA is pleased to endorse the project and contribute technical support in the development of its library, archives, research and knowledge components.

We are excited about the opportunity this partnership presents to promote literacy, expand access to knowledge, strengthen research and extend the reach and footprint of libraries, particularly in Northern Ghana.

For GhLA, this partnership reinforces our commitment to making libraries relevant spaces for learning, knowledge-sharing and opportunity for all.

Preserve Legacy. Advance Knowledge. Empower the Next Generation.
