ADVENT WINDOWS

Following the success of our first Hunts Grove-wide Advent calendar last year, we're bringing Advent Windows back.

Each evening from 1 to 24 December, a new decorated window will be revealed and lit for everyone to enjoy in the run-up to Christmas.

We’re looking for households to take part by decorating and lighting a window facing the road, starting on your assigned date and keeping it lit until Christmas. If you’d like to be part of this new tradition, sign up at https://www.huntsgrove-pc.gov.uk/advent-windows-sign-up-form/

Towards the end of November we’ll share a map of all the participating windows so families can follow the trail throughout December.

ALLOTMENTS/COMMUNITY CENTRE

For an update on the allotments (and the frustrating delay with the lease) and progress on the community centre, see the news item on the Parish Council website.

The allotments are almost finished and would be ready to be handed over. (The grass areas are being seeded very soon and tree planting will take place after the first frost.)
