PHASE 3 PAVEMENTS

Crest have provided an update on work that is about to start on pavements in Phase 3, including installing and repairing path surfaces. Read more on our website.

REPORTING CRIME AND ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

We sometimes see information and concerns about crime or anti‑social behaviour shared on Facebook. While this helps neighbours stay informed, unless the information is shared with the police (or SDC for anti-social behaviour), issues can’t be investigated, patterns can’t be identified, and action can’t be taken. Even if action isn’t immediate, your reports contribute to long-term solutions.

If you see crime or anti‑social behaviour, please make a report directly to the appropriate authority.

Hunts Grove is a low-crime area, and we can all be proud of the safe, welcoming community we’ve built. However, every incident of crime or Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) can have a significant impact on residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.

ALLOTMENTS

Work is now progressing at pace on the allotments after a delay due to conditions and we are taking major steps towards the Parish Council managing the allotments. At this point, we are also reopening applications.

This year's meeting is being held on Monday 11 May at 6pm at the school.

This is a great chance to:
* Hear about the work the parish council is doing
* Ask questions
* Raise issues and ideas.

BEST WISHES FOR VESAK

Today, we send best wishes to those marking Vesak (or Buddha Day) — a celebration of the birth, enlightenment and passing of the Buddha. It’s a time to reflect on the values of peace, compassion, and mindfulness.

LITTER PICKING

Our monthly litter picks continue on SUNDAY 10 May.

Be a litter picking superhero and join us anytime from 0930 to 1200 at the side of the school.

Residents collected 10 bags of litter at April's pick - come and help us do even better.

Today marks Vaisakhi — an important day in the Sikh calendar, celebrating the birth of the Khalsa community and a time of harvest and service.
