🌿 Creating outdoor spaces that support everyone.
A sensory-rich outdoor environment offers so much to settings. From sensory tunnels and musical equipment to hands-on construction play, carefully chosen features give children opportunities to explore their senses, develop confidence, build social skills and find moments of calm.
For pupils who need additional support with sensory regulation, these spaces can be particularly valuable. They also give teachers and support staff more ways to engage children, encourage interaction and support their individual needs throughout the school day.
