Bike Check is back this summer! Like a coat check, but for bikes, we help people enjoy events worry-free. Bike Check volunteers provide great customer service, park bikes, and support cycling culture in Kitchener.

NEWS: Play in the Park returns to more parks this summer, offered at six neighbourhood parks including Breithaupt Park, Elmsdale Park, Gzowski Park, Heritage Park, Idlewood Park and Wilson Park 🌳

Play in the Park offers kids the opportunity to move, create, play, and thrive close to home through fun, loosely structured activities, such as outdoor games, sports, and crafts, led by City staff.

NEWS: Kitchener is receiving over $8M from the Government of Ontario through the Building Faster Fund, recognizing the City of Kitchener’s continued progress in getting more homes built faster.

This funding supports infrastructure work that helps create more housing options and complete, connected communities for residents.
