I’m very pleased to share that, through the Emergency Services Provider Fund, three fire departments in our community are receiving funding to support critical equipment and emergency response needs.

Blandford & Area Fire Rescue - $30,000
Hubbards District Volunteer Fire Department - $26,947.32
New Ross Volunteer Fire Department - $30,000

That’s a total of $86,947.32 in provincial funding for our local fire departments. The funding will support purchases including safety equipment, bunker gear and boots, and rescue tools. This is important equipment that helps our firefighters do their jobs safely and effectively.

Thank you to our fire departments for the important work you do every day to keep our communities safe. I’m proud to see this support going to the people who are there when our communities need them most.
