"Can you love someone who has done terrible things? This fantastical dark academia novel explores that idea as well as questions of identity, power, and privilege."

Available in adult fiction.

Ready for a scare?!

Hugh Grant delivers chills as the villainous Mr. Reed in 'Heretic' (2024), now streaming on Kanopy. When two young missionaries knock on the wrong door, they’re pulled into a sinister game of cat-and-mouse that will test their faith and their nerves.

Explore the Crypt Collection for more spine-tingling titles, just in time for Halloween.

Find the Kanopy link on our website or search the catalogue to start your fright night.

Staff pick! Laura recommends 'Exit Party' by Emily St. John Mandel:

"Two possible futures (that seem eerily plausible) intersect one night at a party when three people cross between realities. St. John Mandel is at the top of her game here with dexterous world building, and a fascinating morally gray main character."
