📣 Another commitment secured - this time for Robinvale!

We’ve been advocating hard, and today there’s more good news: if elected, a Liberal–National Coalition will invest $3 million to complete the remaining projects in the Robinvale Riverfront Masterplan. 🌳

It’s a welcome commitment for Robinvale and a win for our community!

We’ll keep pushing all parties and candidates for commitments that deliver for our region. 💪

🚤 HELPING TO SAVE A RARE PIECE OF AUSTRALIA'S WARTIME HISTORY!

With Council's support, the Lions Club of Lake Boga is on a mission to restore a rare World War II RAAF crash boat - one of only a handful remaining in Australia!

❤️ The project honours the dream of the late Rod Rudge, who discovered the historic vessel near Bendigo and worked tirelessly to bring it to Lake Boga.

Now, a passionate group of locals is determined to restore the boat and preserve this important piece of wartime history for future generations.

💙 But they need some help!

The Lions Club is seeking donations and funding partners to bring this remarkable project to life.

Robinvale Hotel – Demolition

The Robinvale Hotel building will be demolished following an independent structural assessment that found the fire-damaged building to be unsafe.

We understand the significance of the hotel to the Robinvale community and recognise this may be difficult news for some people.

Following an extensive process, the timeframe for the building owner to comply with the building order has now expired, and Council must act to ensure the site is made safe.

This outcome has not been taken lightly, but the safety of our community must come first.

💧 Strategically located water tanks can assist in protecting assets during major fire events, particularly where mains water supplies fail or natural water sources are limited.

The Fire Danger Period begins across Swan Hill Rural City Council at 1am on Monday, 2 November 2026.

Now is the time to prepare your property, review your fire plan and make sure everyone in your household knows what to do.

Restrictions on lighting fires apply during this period. Check CFA’s advice before undertaking any activity involving fire.
