For the past few years, Jordan has been a full-time carer for his grandfather. Now, he’s looking to take the next step and return to work.
Keeping a part-time job has been a challenge for Jordan, and he’s been working through a number of personal challenges along the way. His goal now is to find full-time work and build greater stability and independence.

When Jordan came to Ready Set, our volunteer stylists helped him find suitable clothing for job interviews, giving him a boost of confidence and dignity.

Knowing that he’s dressed appropriately, feels comfortable and is ready for work can make a real difference when you’re preparing to take that next step.

We are proud to support Jordan as he works towards his goal of full-time employment.

After graduating from school in 2020, Rose found it difficult to find work while navigating her own challenges.

Then, last year, she was offered an exciting opportunity in the trades sector; a field she is now hoping to continue working in.

When Rose came to Ready Set, our volunteer stylists helped her prepare for interviews and provided high-vis clothing needed to work safely in the trade environment.

It is a great example of how Ready Set’s clothing and styling support can help jobseekers feel prepared for the opportunities in front of them.
And with the support of our coaches, we’re able to help jobseekers with more than just what they wear, providing practical support and encouragement as they take their next steps towards employment.
We are proud to be part of Rose’s journey.

Our FutureFIT program has been featured on 7NEWS, shining a spotlight on how the right clothing, guidance, and support can help young people feel confident and ready to enter the workforce.

Delivered by ReadySet and Big Group Hug, from Big Group Hug's Tarneit Hub, FutureFIT helps young job seekers experiencing disadvantage overcome practical barriers to employment and take their next steps with confidence.

When Jamie first came to Ready Set, he wasn’t quite sure what to expect.

What he found was a team of volunteer stylists who were kind, nurturing and helpful and who made him feel safe.

Jamie says matching colours when putting an outfit together can sometimes be tricky. Our stylists took care of that, choosing clothes that worked for him and helping him feel confident in his new look.
And when Jamie put on his outfit, he knew he was ready to go to work.
We think the pose says it all.

Meet Charmaine.

For Charmaine, having a job is about independence, purpose and having a reason to get out of bed each day.

Currently working in retail, Charmaine has her sights set on becoming a research scientist.

When she first visited Ready Set, she was a little nervous. Our volunteer stylists took the time to make her feel comfortable, listened to what she liked and helped her find an outfit that made her feel confident.
She loved the quality of the clothes and left feeling ready to take her next step.
