India’s exports of spices, rice and marine products over the last 12 years reflect changes in value chains, quality standards and access to global markets. These sectors continue to be an important part of India’s agricultural and marine trade and engagement with global demand.
These trends also indicate the increasing role of agricultural and marine products in supporting export diversification, strengthening rural value chains and enhancing India’s participation in global trade.
