Aptly named after the incredible natural transformation of flamingos, whose iconic bright pink develops over time because of their choices, Robin Bailey’s memoir is an incredibly honest tale of transformation, hope and healing in the aftermath of tragic grief lived in the public eye. Australian radio and television personality Robin Bailey is one of Australia’s longest serving female voices on commercial radio. Yet as her career flourished, her world fell apart when Tony, the father of their three boys, completed su***de when their children were aged only 10, 12 and 14. When years later she found love again, her beloved husband Sean died of liver cancer 11 months after their marriage. However, Robin's story is not one of tragedy-it is one of resilience. As the women in her family have taught her, Robin believes in not just surviving, but thriving.
