Gympie South Lions Club members had a busy time at the Main entrance of the Gympie races today, with around 1280 people in attendance during the event. A hugh thank you to all members who assisted today. Thanks to the Gympie Turf Club for having chosen our Lions club to continue in this role at each of their Race Meetings. At tonight's Gympie South Lions Club meeting a couple of years of service pins were presented. Lion Rodney was presented his 2 years service pin by his sponsor, club President, Lion Joan. Lion Carol received her 4 years service pin from her sponsor, Lion Rob. Congratulations and thanks to both members. Your contributions to Lions are greatly appreciated.

President Lion Joan was very excited to be presented a Lions Master Membership key at last nights Gympie South Lions meeting. This is awarded to a Lions member who has introduced 20 new members to Lions. Congratulations, Joan.
