We’re proud to acknowledge Lizzie O’Chin 🌟, who graduated from our SQW program in March 2017, completing a Certificate II in Hospitality 🎓.

Lizzie was our very first SQW participant when SkillCentred began overseeing the Cherbourg Café & Training Centre — a special milestone in our journey ☕✨.

It’s wonderful to look back and celebrate the beginnings of something that has supported so many pathways into training and employment, and to recognise the people who helped shape that story 💛.

We’re thrilled to celebrate Koby 🎉, who completed a Traineeship (Certificate I in Workplace Skills) through our SQW Bus-I-Ness on Barambah program, graduating in September 2023 🎓.

As a direct result of his participation in the program, Cherbourg Council offered Koby full-time employment — an incredible outcome and a true reflection of his hard work and commitment 💼👏.

We love hearing stories like this, where trainees go on to secure meaningful employment and build their careers after completing an SQW program 🌱✨. It’s a powerful reminder of the real difference these opportunities can make in people’s lives 💛.
