A proud Quandamooka, Kabikabi and Meriam Le artist delivering powerful, soulful performances that celebrate strength, identity and connection.

🎤 Ben Barker
Combining didgeridoo and guitar, Ben creates a distinctive sound that blends tradition with contemporary music, sharing culture in a fresh and engaging way.

💸 Not-for-profit community groups can apply for grants from $500 to $2,000 to deliver free events and activities celebrating Seniors Month this October. Applications close Monday 22 June 2026.

Works are in progress to realign sections of the track network, helping improve safety and keep trails within the reserve while maintaining access for the community.

The updates will also include new signage and a safer connection between popular routes.

This year’s theme, “Fifty Years of Deadly,” honours the strength, pride and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and recognises the powerful legacy that continues to shape future generations.

Enjoy a full day of culture and community, including:
🔥 A traditional smoking ceremony
🎶 Live music from First Nations performers
🌾 Cultural demonstrations and weaving workshops
🎨 Free kids activities
🎁 Market stalls, food trucks, community information and giveaways
