Congratulations to our Junior and Senior Dance Troupes on their outstanding performances at the Ipswich Dance Eisteddfod on Tuesday, 16 June!

Our Senior Dance Troupe achieved fantastic results, receiving two Very Highly Commended awards and one Highly Commended award.

Beyond their achievements on stage, both teams demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship, encouraging and supporting not only each other but also fellow performers throughout the day.

You all looked amazing, represented our school with pride, and showcased the rewards of your hard work and dedication. We are incredibly proud of your efforts and the commitment you have shown in preparing for this performance. Well done, dancers!

Today, our Year One students read a quirky little book, entered in The Book of the Year competition, called "Now You Are A Chicken."

The students were taught how to break down a picture into small bits they could draw to complete the picture.

It didn't need to be exactly the same, as mine wasn't either. But the results from Year One students were amazing!

All Sport Aerobics teams did a great job today, with year 5/6 golden girls and KFC boys standing out for their 1st and 2nd place finishes respectively.

Good morning families,

All three athletics carnivals will be in week 10.
Monday 22nd June - Prep-Year 3
Tuesday 23rd June - Senior High Jump and 800m race
Thursday 25th June - Year 4-6 other

If we cannot paint the running tracks and drain the long jump pits by next Friday June 19th, I will have to reschedule athletics day for juniors and maybe the seniors. The senior athletics day will become priority before the juniors, sorry.
