🌟 PBL Focus – Weeks 9 & 10: We Represent Our School with Pride

What does school pride mean? It means living our school values, feeling welcome and connected, and contributing positively to our school community.

School pride helps everyone feel a sense of belonging and respect. When students, staff, and families work together to create a positive environment, our whole community thrives.

Throughout Weeks 9 and 10, we are focusing on what it means to represent our school with pride by:
✅ Respecting and encouraging members of our school community
✅ Participating in school and extracurricular activities
✅ Supporting others' right to learn and grow
✅ Demonstrating respectful behaviour in all settings, including excursions, camps, competitions, clubs and committees, on public transport, and in the wider community
✅ Using kind language and behaviour at school and beyond
✅ Wearing our school uniform correctly and with pride

Drop and Go
The new Stop, Drop and Go area is complete and is open today - Friday 12 June.

Thank you for your patience and support throughout these major works. We're excited to see this important improvement ready for use.

To celebrate, we'd love you to join us for a free coffee and a chat on Friday morning from 8:00am–8:45am. We are opening this up to the community as well. (Thanks to Dan for this!)

Year 11 Leadership Camp continued today with lots of teamwork, challenge, laughter and, as the photos show, plenty of mud!

Our Principal- Mr Sid - made the trek out to visit the camp and share in the experience with our future leaders.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students are stepping up to challenges, supporting one another and embracing opportunities to grow as leaders!

Year 11 Leadership Camp is underway!

A little rain certainly didn’t dampen spirits, with students embracing new challenges, building connections and stepping outside their comfort zones.

The wet weather has added to the adventure, and some students have managed to collect a little more mud than others along the way. There is a fair amount of gratitude that cabin accommodation was chosen over tents this year!

We’re looking forward to seeing our future leaders continue to grow, challenge themselves and make the most of the camp experience over the coming days.

🌈 Pride Month at EP!

Our school community came together at Everton Park SHS to celebrate Pride Month with connection, fun, and a shared commitment to inclusion and diversity.

The Wellbeing Team led a vibrant celebration with face painting, badge making and community stalls.

Our Certificate III in Hospitality students served rainbow-themed treats and refreshments, and Bunnings Warehouse Stafford provided potted flowers for students to take home.

What a fantastic way to celebrate Chappy Week!

Our Certificate III Hospitality students showcased their industry skills in planning, food preparation, service and teamwork by preparing and serving a delicious breakfast for staff yesterday. The event provided a valuable opportunity for students to apply their learning in a real-world setting while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.

Well done to all involved. We are proud to see our students putting their learning into practice!
