PPSA is the peak industry body representing the interests of South Australian primary producers.

Our members are Grain Producers SA, Livestock SA, South Australian Dairyfarmers' Association, South Australian Forest Products Association, Horticulture Coalition of South Australia and the Wine Grape Council of South Australia. Primary Producers SA’s vision is for a strong and viable primary production sector in South Australia, which is valued by government and the community. Our mission is to represent the collective interest of South Australian primary producers without fear or favour.

PPSA echoes SADA's sentiments and would like to wish a hearty congratulations to South Australian dairyfarmer Narelle Zanker on winning the national 2026 AgriFutures Rural Women's Award. Narelle's Dairy Adventures agritourism venture brings city and country Australians onto her family’s working dairy farm, turning everyday milking and calf-feeding into powerful lessons on food safety, animal care and where food actually comes from. Producers will have the opportunity to drive SARTA's Heavy Vehicle Simulator to improve their defensive driving skills at a series of upcoming workshops. You might have heard of Farming Simulator … but what about trucking simulator?

Primary Producers SA (PPSA) is partnering with SARTA to upskill producers, their family members and employees who drive or want to drive trucks to learn and improve their defensive driving skills.

As part of the project, launched today at the Eyre Peninsula Field Days, PPSA is utilising SARTA’s heavy vehicle driving simulator at a series of workshops across the state. The simulator mimics real-world scenarios, helping drivers to improve their skills in negotiating different challenges on the road, including other traffic, pedestrians, reversing, loading and unloading, and different weather conditions.

PPSA warmly congratulates former Executive Chairman Rob Kerin on being appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours List.
