Last Friday, local business owners and operators came together at the City-wide Mid-Year Business Networking event hosted at Kieser Norwood.

As part of the evening, seven local businesses were recognised with Mayor’s Business Commendation Awards for their years of trading and contribution to our community.

Johns' Print Centre was celebrated for an incredible 50+ years of trading. Vinnies SA Norwood, Tito Pignetti - Training & Consulting and AFM Services were acknowledged for 25+ years, while Centina, The Nourish'd Kitchen and Belly Dance Arabesque received commendations for 10+ years.

We are proud to celebrate these local businesses and their ongoing contribution to our City. Congratulations to all the businesses recognised.

There’s a different kind of beauty at Burchell Reserve after a rainy week!

With the recent weather, the reserve is looking lush and green, while the stormwater features are doing exactly what they were designed to do.

The redevelopment of Burchell Reserve has created a space that supports both recreation and improved stormwater management, helping the reserve respond to wet weather while remaining a great place for the community to enjoy.

Sometimes all it takes is seeing your local green spaces come to life after the rain to appreciate the changing seasons and the role these spaces play in our neighbourhood.
