The Woman’s Club of Zebulon is a non-profit philanthropic organization made up of women who share a common goal: to work together to improve the Zebulon community, socially, physically, culturally and educationally. Community Service Program Responsibilities
Through the Art's Community Service Program, the club women create and contribute to art education and activities in their communities. The c
ommittee is responsible for the local schools and club members to participate in the local, district and state art festival. The Conservation Community Service Program has been planned for members to gain and understanding and appreciation of all aspects of our environment and the world's resources, natural and man-made. The committee is involved with the "Clean Sweep/Litter Program." The Education Community Service Program encourages club women to consider programs and projects to promote and combat illiteracy concerns and improve education awareness in communities, at home, and around the world. The committee helps with various projects within the school system throughout the year. The Home Life Community Service Program is designed to inform members of issues that effect the well-being of individuals, families, and communities by providing opportunities and resources to meet and address the needs for a better quality of life through volunteering. The committee supports the Boys and Girls Club, the medical clinic (Good Shepherd), and assists with the local blood drive. The International Outreach Community Program encourages club women to consider programs and projects to provide support and encouragement to people around the world, and to promote programs that will highlight opportunities for aid. While members, in most cases, cannot physically be present to assist and make changes in countries around the world, our members can be assured that the donations made through Our partnership agencies are reaching those in the greatest need. The Public Issues Community Service Program will continue its long-standing advocacy and proven historic involvement towards investigation and development of programs and projects relating to veterans, citizenship, and safety. This committee reminds the members of special events.
