The Whitehouse Fire Department is an organization of dedicated professionals who are committed to serving the community by protecting life, property, and the environment through prevention, education, emergency medical and fire services. The Department consists of almost 60 dedicated members who have taken intricate classes to become part of the Fire and EMS serivce. All members of the Whitehouse Fire Department are required to participate in training exercises held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. The Whitehouse Fire Association is responsible for Scholarships, Breakfasts at the Fire Department, and the legendary Chicken BBQ's. Money raised during these events help fund scholarships for Anthony Wayne students, purchase new equipment, and support various community events.
