I’m proud to have the endorsement of the Indiana Young Democrats. Young Hoosiers are stepping up to shape the future of our state, and I’m grateful to have their support as we work for stronger communities and greater opportunities for all.

Hello, my name is Tyler Bridges, and I’m running for Indiana State House District 11.

My opponent, Mike Aylesworth (83), has supported policies that I believe put big corporations ahead of working Hoosiers. He has criticized funding for some public schools, libraries, and local governments. I disagree with his approach to workers’ rights, utility costs, and data centers in our communities.

I believe it’s time to put everyday Hoosiers first. I’m fighting for paid sick and family leave, better childcare, and higher wages. I want to lower utility bills by limiting transportation costs, protecting people from winter shutoffs, and eliminating the sales tax on utility bills. I also support making the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission bipartisan and increasing public school funding.

I want a moratorium on new data centers until we can protect our farmland, water, electricity supply, and local communities. Our residents deserve a voice in decisions that affect their backyards.

This election is about the future of our families and communities. I’m running to bring new leadership to Indianapolis that listens, shows up, and answers to the people it represents.

On November 3, let’s put Hoosiers first and Vote Tyler Thomas Bridges.
