Food is about more than what's on the plate. It's connection, conversation, independence, culture, and sometimes a whole lot of laughter.

As National Disability Employment Awareness Month comes to a close, we're shining a spotlight on Flutters Cafe, where individuals supported by CDS gain hands-on experience in food service, customer service, and teamwork while building confidence and independence. Beyond serving great food, Flutters provides opportunities to develop valuable workplace skills that can support future employment and greater community inclusion.

Today, CDS Life Transitions offered team members flu shots, courtesy of CDS Rx. Team members across the organization, including CEO Andrew Sewnauth, rolled up their sleeves to help protect themselves and those around them as we head into flu season.

A little prevention goes a long way, and we're proud to support employee health and wellness through opportunities like this.
