So many people try to tear others down because they feel that someone else's success comes at their own expense.
My friends... just because one person is winning doesn't mean someone else is losing. There's so much abundance in this world, we can all win together 🙂

The real world does not need kids who are afraid to think for themselves.

It needs kids who can solve problems.

Kids who can notice what is wrong and ask, “What can I do?”

Kids who can try something, learn from it, adjust, and try again.

Kids who understand that responsibility is not something to avoid. It is something that helps them grow.

That kind of confidence does not magically appear when a child becomes an adult.

It starts much earlier.

In the way parents invite kids into real conversations.

In the questions we ask after a story.

In the small responsibilities we trust them with.

In the moments when we let them think through a problem instead of immediately solving it for them.

Of course kids need guidance.

They need wisdom.

They need correction.

But they also need practice becoming capable.

Because we are not just raising children who can follow instructions.

We are raising future adults who can think clearly, act with courage, and help build what comes next.

A lot of kids can get through school without ever hearing this idea clearly.

John Locke wrote it centuries ago, and it still matters: you have a property in your own person. Your body, your labor, your choices, and your future are not things someone else owns.

That’s not just philosophy. It’s the foundation of so much more: why your work has value, why your voice matters, and why freedom means something deeper than a word on a bumper sticker.

At Tuttle Twins, we believe kids deserve to meet the thinkers who shaped these ideas. Not as dusty history, but as living tools for the world they’re actually growing up in.

Because a child who knows where their rights come from is a child who knows what to do with them.
