This year’s Annual Appeal is building something our youngest kids can climb on. 🛝 We’re raising funds for a new playground at the Mullen Building in Warwick. The new playground will serve the infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in our Early Intervention and ABA programs, with two play spaces for two very different age groups. 🌟

🎃👻 Residential’s annual Halloween party at the East Greenwich Veteran Fireman's Club was another spooktacular success! Residents and staff dressed up for the occasion, and everyone had a wonderful time celebrating together. It was a fun-filled event filled with costumes, smiles, and plenty of Halloween spirit!

The Trudeau Center is incredibly grateful to the volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to making this special event possible year after year. Your generosity and hard work help create lasting memories for our residents, and we truly appreciate everything you do to make this event such a success! Thank you for another fantastic Halloween celebration! 🧡🖤

2026 Trunk or Treat! 🎃 What an amazing turnout for our Trunk or Treat this year! Approximately 100 clients and their families joined us for an afternoon of Halloween fun in our fenced-in back field and playground area. 👻

This year we had the honor of dedicating this event to Madison Davis, a former student, as a celebration of her beautiful life and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Halloween was a tradition Madison and her family looked forward to, joining our EI team each year for our festivities and creating memories we will always cherish. 🧡

Families enjoyed trick-or-treating from 26 decorated trunks, thanks to the creativity and enthusiasm of staff from Early Intervention, ABA, Finance, the Day Program, Human Resources, and several of our group homes. It was wonderful to see so many departments come together to create such a fun experience for our clients and their families! 🕸️

We also want to give a huge shout-out to Trudeau's Maintenance team. Their help and support were instrumental in making the event such a success. 🎉

We're in celebration mode! 🎉 After 26 years in Early Intervention, Lin Morrison, pictured at center in the black sweater and crown, an exceptional Occupational Therapy Assistant whose dedication, compassion and commitment have made a lasting impact on countless children and families, is retiring. 💙

Lin’s contributions extend far beyond therapy sessions. Lin has been a valued colleague, a trusted resource and an important part of our Early Intervention Team. As she begins this exciting new chapter, we wish her all the best of health, happiness, relaxation and many wonderful adventures. Congratulations, Lin!

📍 Trudeau Center Recreation Center, 3445 Post Road, Warwick
🎟️ $5 per person

Put on your best costume and enjoy a DJ, games, snacks and drinks. Prizes go to the Best Overall, Funniest and Most Creative costumes. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Fun for all ages! We hope to see you there! 🧡

Please join us in congratulating Tom McLaughlin, our Employment Coordinator, on earning his National ACRE Certification! 🎉🏅

ACRE certification comes from the of Community Rehabilitation Educators. It’s a nationally recognized credential for employment specialists, honoring expertise in supported employment and competitive integrated employment for people with disabilities. 💼

Tom brings that expertise to work every day. He leads our students’ Work Readiness Classes and Job Exploration Services, and he supports students and staff during their integrated trial work experiences. 🙌

Trudeau was proud to be represented at the Rhode Island Association for the Education of Young Children Conference! 🌟

Matthew Clifford, Mackenzie Milner, and Erin Boylan presented a workshop titled “Building a Bridge: Understanding Autism and the Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.” Meanwhile, Samantha Moore and Roberta Judge staffed the Trudeau table, engaging with educators, clinicians, and support staff and answering their questions.

The conference was a great success, providing a wonderful opportunity to share knowledge, build connections, and promote understanding and support for individuals with autism. 🧩 Thank you to everyone who represented Trudeau and helped make this event such a success!
