A little gross, a lot of foam, and SO much fun! 🎃🧪 Mrs. Clayton and Mrs. Kirk’s 2nd graders tested out some colorful chemical reactions today to see whose pumpkin could make the biggest, messiest eruption! Nothing beats hands-on science in the fall sunshine. ☀️🫧

We are beyond thrilled to announce that Mrs. Taryn Copeland is officially stepping into a new role at Pine Forest Elementary as our newest 1st Grade Math Teacher!

Many of our families and students already know Mrs. Copeland from her incredible dedication, patience, and heart as one of our campus paraprofessionals. Watching our own grow and take the lead in the classroom is one of the greatest joys of our school family, and we couldn’t be prouder of her.

Her passion for student success and love for our campus make her the perfect fit for our 1st-grade team.

🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, Math Masters! 🏴‍☠️

Huge congratulations to these incredible 3rd-grade students who have officially conquered the high seas of math! 🌊✖️

After putting in the hard work and dedication, these scholars mastered their 1–10 multiplication facts and earned their official Big Buc Pirate Award and the prestigious rank of Legend! 🏆✨

We could not be prouder of their perseverance and math fluency.

We asked our students what their teachers should dress up as for Halloween, and their answers did NOT disappoint. 😂🎃 From royalty to... a giant pickle? 🥒✨ Check out their costume ideas brought to life! Which one is your favorite? 👻👇

A huge thank you to the incredible Vidor Junior High School Band, Brigadettes, Twirlers, and Cheerleaders for bringing the energy to Pine Forest Elementary today for an unforgettable Homecoming pep rally!

Our little Pirates loved cheering along, seeing the routines, and visiting with their older siblings and role models. Nothing beats that black-and-gold Pirate pride! 🖤💛 Vidor Junior High School
