What's Out There LLC What's Out There... is a planetarium experience that brings the stars right to you!

Happening tonight, don't miss it! On Wednesday, Oct 28, the bright Moon rises in the east-northeast in the evening. By about 10 PM local time, ET or PT, it is higher and easier to see. Look up and to the right of the Moon for a tiny, fuzzy group of 6 or 7 stars. That is the Seven Sisters star group. The Moon is 88% lit, so binoculars help a lot!

Science is cool!

NASA has released more than 800 GB of Artemis II lunar science data to the public. The collection includes 11,000+ high-resolution images and videos of the Moon, 8.5 hours of crew audio observations, and images annotated by the astronauts.

If you see this, the stars are smiling upon you today 😊

While observing the universe, NASA's Hubble Space Telescope caught a galaxy cluster smiling for the camera. The smile lines are arcs caused by an effect known as gravitational lensing, where massive structures warp spacetime with their powerful gravitational forces and act as a cosmic lens.

Today I am back at Brookside Elementary School in Westwood NJ. Its world space week so they thought this would be an excellent time to bring me back. This year we will be doing my moon program. The students will learn how the moon moves over the course of a night and a month. They will learn how phases of the moon happen. I'm excited to be back here to show everyone what's out there...
