Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Networking and Salsa Social at Deaf Shark Coffee! It was an incredible evening of making new connections, enjoying great music from DJ Eazy E, and seeing everyone show up in their best tropical attire.

Get ready for a great cause! The Union Elks Lodge #1583 is hosting its 36th Annual Special Children’s Committee Benefit Kustom Car & Motorcycle Show on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 281 Chestnut Street.

Admission is free for all spectators, but donations are greatly appreciated. Whether you have a car, truck, or motorcycle to showcase, all vehicle makes and models are welcome, with a $20 entry fee. Registration starts at 8:00 AM.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13th, 2026! The Township of Union invites cyclists of all skill levels to participate in the Annual Freedom Bike Ride.

Our 10-mile roundtrip journey starts at 9:30 AM from Union Fire Headquarters (1 Bond Drive) and takes us to the Echo Lake Park Memorial Site in Mountainside. This community ride offers a meaningful opportunity to honor the heroics and memory of 9/11 together.

Get ready to lace up your dancing shoes for a great cause! Join us for Salsa with the Mayor in support of The Gateway Family YMCA Financial Assistance program.

This special evening takes place on Thursday, September 17 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the DMK Theatre (1980 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ) alongside special guest Mayor Patricia Guerra-Frazier.

The event kicks off with an interactive Salsa Lesson to get everyone moving, followed by Open Salsa Dancing so you can show off your skills. Delicious light snacks and refreshments will also be provided courtesy of Bubbakoo’s Burritos of Union! 🌯

Tickets cost $30, and advance registration is required. You can register today in person at The Gateway Family YMCA or online at tgfymca.org. Enjoy a wonderful evening out while directly supporting your local community!
