1240 Franklin Volunteer Fire Rescue Department was dispatched to a ground cover and camper on fire. Rescue and Tanker arrived on scene to a camper fully engulfed and approximately 1/2 acre ground cover. Both were extinguished and no injuries reported.

The Franklin Volunteer Fire Rescue Department is deeply appreciative of the Mid-South RC&D Grant that enabled us to purchase 2 SCBA packs and 4 air bottles. The 2 new SCBA packs will be placed in our Rescue truck that did not have any. The new SCBA packs will enable the Franklin VFRD to continue to provide uninterrupted service to the citizens of the Town of Franklin and when providing mutual aid to our neighboring departments.
