These photos capture a few of the milestones, memories and laughs from her time with us.

Tiffani, thank you for your dedication to Tomball and for everything you’ve brought to this team. We’ll miss you, and we’re cheering you on in your next chapter!

Our Tomball Economic Development Corporation team has bittersweet news to share.

Our very own Tiffani Wooten, CEcD, will be leaving Tomball EDC to join the City of Conroe as the Executive Director of Economic Development, and we are so grateful for the difference she’s made here. Our entire team is sad to see her go, but we could not be happier for her to have this opportunity. We know she will do amazing things for Conroe.

As our Assistant Director, Tiffani has supported economic development projects that have generated more than $490 million in private capital investment and created or retained more than 4,000 jobs, benefiting citizens and businesses of all sizes.

In addition to business attraction, retention and expansion, she has worked to connect young people with career opportunities right here at home. Her work with our Summer Youth Employment Program is one example. This past summer, 37 Tomball businesses hired 63 interns, helping students gain paid experience and build relationships with local employers.

Thank you, Tiffani, for your leadership and commitment to Tomball. The relationships you’ve built and the opportunities you’ve helped create will continue to benefit our community. We’ll miss you and wish you every success in Conroe!

A summer job can become much more than a summer job.

Feedback from Tomball EDC’s 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program showed students gained greater confidence, clearer career direction and meaningful experiences inside real workplaces.

For some participants, that experience has also opened the door to continued opportunities with local employers.

For Tomball businesses, SYEP is more than a summer program. It’s an investment in the talent pipeline our community will depend on next.

We will be gearing up for the 2027 session in the next 3-4 weeks, so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter and stay tuned to our website and social media for more information.

We expect continued growth, businesses will want to sign up early to participate!
