Did you know that storm water collected from streets, ditches, storm drain inlets, and pipes flow directly into natural streams and rivers without being treated?

It's important to keep storm water clean to protect our water sources and aquatic environments.

You can help by:
1. Throwing all garbage directly into trash cans.
2. Bagging up leaves and grass from your lawn instead of blowing them into the street or streams.
3. Scooping up pet waste and disposing it in trash cans.
4. Contacting hazardous waste disposal services to dispose of liquids like oils, chemicals, and petroleum.

These simple actions can make a huge difference in making sure our storm water remains protected.

Did you know the City of Tomball publishes an Annual Drinking Water Quality Report each year to help residents better understand the quality of their drinking water?

This report is released each June and covers all water quality testing conducted between January 1 and December 31 of the previous calendar year using the most current testing data required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The report is designed to provide transparency and keep residents informed about the water they use every day.

The Annual Drinking Water Quality Report includes detailed information about the City’s water system, explains how drinking water is sourced and treated, and identifies any detected contaminants found during testing. It also provides information about potential contaminant sources and the standards used to ensure the City’s drinking water meets federal and state requirements.

Residents can view the full Annual Drinking Water Quality Report for 2025 online at tomballtx.gov/ccr or obtain a printed copy at the Tomball Public Works Administrative Building, located at 501 James St.

For questions about the report or the City’s water quality, please contact Utilities Superintendent Will Goff at [email protected] or (281) 290-1427.
