What a wonderful evening filled with costumes, candy, laughter, and community spirit!

A HUGE thank you to all of our local businesses who participated and to everyone who generously donated candy to help make this event possible. We truly couldn’t do it without your support!

A special thank you to the Sunset Beach Fire Department NC, Sunset Beach Public Works Department, and the Sunset Beach Police Officers who helped make the evening so much fun for all the little ghosts and goblins!

And let’s hear it for the Witches of Sea Trail! Thank you for your fantastic performance and for bringing a little extra Halloween magic to the evening!

Most importantly, thank you to all the families who came out to celebrate with us. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces is what makes all the hard work worthwhile!

It takes a community to make an event like this happen, and we’re lucky to have such an incredible one!

If you missed last nights event, Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, NC is hosting their annual Fall Festival tonight, Thursday, October 29th, from 6 to 9 PM at the Brunswick County Government Complex.

There is nothing scarier than the consequences of driving while impaired. To discourage drivers from getting behind the wheel after drinking this Halloween, law enforcement will be stepping up patrols and using checkpoints and saturation patrols as part of the statewide Booze It & Lose It campaign, October 26th - November 01, 2026. Driving while impaired can also be expensive. People charged with DWI can lose their license and pay thousands of dollars in court fees.

𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐊-𝐎𝐑-𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏!

Our annual Trunk-or-Treat event is right around the corner, and we’re asking our amazing community to help us stock up on CANDY!

Did you know passing out candy at this event is a 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐄𝐅𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓? The Sunset Beach Fire Department, Public Works, and other Town employees all come together to assist the Police Department in passing out candy. Your candy donation doesn’t just help one department, it helps ALL of us!

With hundreds of little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes expected, it takes a LOT of candy to keep those treat bags full! Every bag counts! Whether you donate one bag or ten, you’re helping us make Halloween special for the kids in our community.

Wednesday, October 28
5:00–6:30 PM
Sunset Beach Town Park

Please consider donating a bag of individually wrapped candy!

From all of us at the Sunset Beach Police Department, THANK YOU for helping us make this community tradition possible!

Let’s fill those candy buckets!
