💃🕺 We read, we raised, we DANCED! 🐆📚

Our Cheetahs are celebrating big, but the fundraiser isn’t over yet! We’re keeping our Read-a-Thon link open through next week while we hand out weekly reading tracker prizes.

Some classes are just a few dollars away from a DONUT PARTY 🍩, while others are still waiting for their first dollar. Every little bit adds up and helps us fund more fun for our Cheetahs!

Let’s keep the momentum going and dance our way closer to our goal! 🎉

Thank you to the families that donated to our grab and go spread to help fuel the teachers during conference week!

These small physical donations help keep our budget lower to save towards other student initiatives, while also showing gratitude towards those who teach and care for our students 6+ hours a day.

FUNDRAISING TIP: Encourage your student to read a minute for every dollar raised towards the read-a-thon!

Our fundraiser is off to a great start Cheetahs! Keep reading, collecting minutes and 💲.

Tomorrow the PTA will come around and reward the students who put in the minutes and handed in their reading bookmarks!

Keep up the hard work!

This week is conference week, please make sure to check the lost and found, and our lovely lined hallways with all the sad clothing looking for their owners!

Connecting with other parents while volunteering, delivering popcorn to every student and staff member, and sneaking hugs from your children in the halls…

We can’t name a better way to end the week! 🍿

Unfortunately today's recess takeover will be cancelled. 😭

The Cherrydale PTA board is a teeny tiny group of moms, without the support of our amazing volunteers, sometimes things get canceled.

Although we had a good chunk of people ready for the morning we didn't have enough for the afternoon and made the executive decision to cancel today's recess takeover.

Thank you for your continued support and please keep an eye out for November's recess takeover sign up. 🍁 🦃

Did you know our PTA donates at least 2 book fair vouchers to each teacher to give to students in need?

Being a Title 1 school means many students fall into the federal low income bracket. So many students can’t afford to buy new books to enjoy at home forever.

By donating to our read-a-thon to support a student, teacher, or simply as a community member giving back, you help get more books in children’s hands!
