Welcome to Appalachia Sessions Live from Roan Sate Community Colleg...

10/13/2026

Our 8th graders are attending Appalachia Sessions Live at Roane State Community College today. Our morning started with breakfast and swag! First session involved Tennesseans who have made an impact on the world. Second session covered hope, help and strength.
Session 3 was outside visiting different stations that highlight what Roane State has to offer. Students talked to departments, participated in activities (CPR, push ups, quick hands, hammering nails, pipe work) and filled their Swag Bags.
Session 4 covered how to pay for college, sources of funding, FAFSA, HOPE Scholarship, and hopefully attend for free.
Lunch and now getting for a concert!
