Come see Pedernales Fire this Halloween!

We’ll have a fire engine at It’s All Good BBQ’s Trunk or Treat in Spicewood this Saturday, October 31, from 5–7 p.m.

Bring the whole family, wear your favorite costumes, and stop by to say hello to your firefighters!

After all the treats for the evening and before bed Saturday night, remember to turn your clocks BACK one hour for since daylight saving time ends Sunday, November 1.

Wake up to the new day on Sunday with a fresh goal and test your smoke alarms. A few minutes can help keep your family safe. If you do not have a working smoke detector please contact us and we will be happy to install one for you.

Have a safe and spooktacular Halloween to everyone that we serve! 👻

Last night, the Pedernales Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Briarcliff Drive that threatened the nearby residence. Thanks to the quick response and actions of Pedernales Fire personnel and our regional partners, Lake Travis Fire Rescue, Ce-Bar Fire Department, Austin Fire Department, and Burnet County ESD 9 - Spicewood Fire Rescue, most of the damage was limited to the vehicle. Residents evacuated quickly, and firefighters checked the home for fire extension and ventilated smoke. One firefighter sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene. During Fire Prevention Month, take a few minutes to test every smoke alarm in your home, replace alarms that are more than 10 years old, and make sure everyone in your household knows two ways out of each room and where to meet outside.
