Junk Journals Teen Craft

Teens are invited to craft with us on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30pm at the DeMott Lane library location. We will DIY journal covers with decoupage! Lewis Street Branch Library will be closed on Monday, May 18th for the installation of our new generator. We plan to reopen on Tuesday, May 19th at 2:00 p.m. unless the PSEG installation takes 2 days which will be confirmed by PSEG later today and we will post accordingly. Thank you for your patience!

Join us tomorrow at the Lewis Street Branch library as we kick off the first of five Colonial Tea Tastings! A relaxing half-hour to enjoy a cookie and a chat as we learn about the 5 British-imported teas (Hint: they were all Chinese teas!) that were tossed overboard at the Boston Tea Party.

Men and women are joining in the fun of this evidence-based seated exercise, using the cutting edge science of neuroplasticity: the brain’s ability to change. Every class is different and uses imagination/creativity, memory/recall, kinesthetic learning, analytical thinking, and strategic planning.
