In August 2025, Holli was 60% thriving. By July 2026, she was 98%. 🌱

She found stable housing, built daily routines, secured her ID while working toward her GED, built a budget, and used therapy and peer support to heal and sustain her recovery.

Holli’s story is not an exception. 88% of our residents now report thriving in Motivation & Goals, because lasting recovery depends on knowing why you’re staying the course.

Holli takes one day at a time, and you can help make the next one happen. đź’™

$75 covers one full day of residential care and access to ASPIRE. Any amount moves a resident’s Life Map one step closer from red to green, and a monthly gift helps us keep every bed covered.

Will you help the next person take her next step?

If you’ve heard about the “man praying at Walmart,” meet Bob Dodgion. 💙

It all started with a Walmart curbside pickup for CRCI’s golf tournament. While picking up supplies in a CRCI vehicle, a member of the CRCI team met Bob, and they prayed together over the upcoming event. A few pickups later, even while in a personal vehicle, Bob still asked to pray together.

It turns out, that’s just who Bob is. He prays for EVERYONE. Whether you’re a familiar face or someone he’s meeting for the first time, Bob has a way of making people feel seen through something as simple and powerful as prayer.

Bob’s story is a reminder that recovery is about more than where someone has been; it’s also about who they become and the impact they have on others.

We’re proud to spotlight Bob as part of our CRCI alumni community and grateful for the light he brings to those around him. 🙏

🎓 Five graduates. Five new beginnings. One more reason to celebrate! 💙

Last night, we celebrated the hard work and growth of five men graduating from our program. But the celebration doesn’t stop here — all five are continuing their journey with CRCI through our LDI program!

Congratulations to Hunter Frye, Samuel Jackson, Christopher Pringle, Thurman White, and Suchart Meeseree! We’re proud of each of you and excited to see what God has in store for your next chapter.

Recovery is about more than completing a program. It’s about building a life of purpose, leadership, and lasting change. 🙌

The people you heard from on that bench are still here. Still in Shallotte, NC. And Christian Recovery Centers is still showing up for them every single day.

Sobriety is the beginning. Becoming someone you're proud of is the goal. đź’›

Our highest-scoring dimension on the Life Map is Education & Culture: 75 out of 100, up 9.1% from baseline. English literacy hit 92% thriving at follow-up.

Behind those numbers are residents earning their GEDs, pursuing vocational training and certifications, and seeing themselves as capable learners, many for the first time in their adult lives.

That's what a whole-person recovery model does that sobriety alone can't.

Watch Patrick's story. He once needed someone to help him find a way out. Now he's that person for someone else.
