It’s been a busy week so far!

As of 2pm Friday your Seminole firefighters have completed confined space training, taught CPR to Seminole Police officers, taught first aid to students at Seminole State College, taken delivery of a new ambulance and began preparing it for service, completed life safety inspections at Seminole elementary schools all while responding to over 50 emergencies!

CPR training with Seminole Police Department this morning! Having police officers trained in CPR creates an increased level of continuity of care for the citizens of Seminole, as they are often first on scene! Thank you Seminole PD for going the extra mile for the citizens!

Recent training at SFD. Crews sharpened their skills regarding removing an unresponsive patient from a compromising situation. Seminole Fire Department is fortunate to be cross trained in fire suppression, technical rescue and advanced level medical care!

Yesterday, Blue Shift spent the day hanging around… literally.

Our crew put in work during High Angle Medical Rescue training, sharpening the skills it takes to safely reach, treat, and rescue patients in challenging environments. From rope systems to patient packaging, every evolution helps us stay ready for when the call comes.
