Providing safety, support and healing for victims and survivors of intimate partner abuse since 1978. All services are offered in Spanish and English.

We provide free and confidential emergency, intervention and prevention services, including the county’s only emergency shelter and transitional housing for victims and survivors.

Honoring Kirsten and Speaking Up Against Abuse

Kirsten lost her life at the hands of an abusive partner. Her work in prisons was so inspirational that the prisoners she had educated, along with her mom, created a fund in her memory.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, consider donating to the Kirsten Castle Emergency Fund. Funds raised are distributed directly to CORA clients for car repairs, utility bills, gas, rent, and other essential needs.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a spotlight on Tony's Closet at CORA.

Tony's Closet is a boutique-style store filled with brand-new household items donated by the community. Here, survivors and their children find a wide variety of things to take with them as they transition out of safe housing. From sheets, bakeware, bath mats, cozy socks, and scented candles, to school backpacks, children's plateware, and baby bottles, we’ve got our clients covered.

Named in memory of Tony Myles, who brought Board Member Michelle Fowler's idea to life, Tony's Closet is where the community transforms action and generosity into empowerment for survivors—and their futures.
