Unity over division.

Dan Cogdell, one of the attorneys who helped defend Ken Paxton during his impeachment trial, is backing Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico.

On his podcast Monday, Cogdell said, "I think Ken has lost sight of his core mission," and praised Talarico for believing in "unity over division."

The endorsement comes as Talarico and Paxton prepare for a closely watched Senate race that has drawn national attention.
