On April 15, a few local pelicans met at VIVA’s to talk about upcoming campaigns. Our special guest was Mike Miller, pictured on the left. Mike is running for governor on the Solidarity Party ticket. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all fellow Pelicans and all like-minded fellow travelers. Here's wishing all y’all a year full of prosperity, solidarity and purpose.
The Bexar County chapter of the Texas Solidarity Party will not meet on Saturday mornings in January. There are a number of schedule conflicts this month, so it just doesn’t make much sense. We are also aware that Saturday mornings are a difficult time for many people. We would like to try to have an evening meet up sometime this month. Perhaps in the future we could have a breakfast get-together every other month and other months have evening meetings. If anyone reading this has any suggestions for future meeting times (afternoon or evening) and/or if you are interested in the party, please give us your suggestions in the comments below. Hopefully we can find a time that is convenient for everyone.
Please know that our county convention is coming up on Saturday, March 7th and our state convention will be on Saturday, April 11th in Waco. I will keep everyone posted. Again, please leave suggestions in the comments.

Joseph Arizpe and Warren Christilles at the Fairmont in Austin to hear the great L**h Walesa speak on freedom and the future of democracy. Walesa was the head of the Solidarnosc Party in Poland during the 70s and 80s and later served as the president of Poland. Our name, the American Solidarity Party, is derived in part from Solidarnosc of Poland.
