A special thank you to Ms. Kathy for her generous donation of Dunkin' Donuts to our department this morning!

Ms. Kathy was at the Dunkin' Donuts in Lusby and graciously purchased and donated donuts for our members and students. At the time, our Firefighter I class was in progress and the donation was greatly appreciated by everyone in attendance.

Pictured are the members of the class along with Instructor Jimmy Schooley and Instructor Kenny Miller, who are leading the training and helping prepare the next generation of firefighters.

Community support like this means so much to our department and our volunteers. Thank you Ms. Kathy for your kindness and generosity. Your thoughtful gesture helped make a busy training day a little sweeter!

Congratulations, John Farrell!

We are proud to celebrate one of our own, John Farrell, on his graduation from Patuxent High School!

What makes this accomplishment even more special is the journey that brought him here. In the photo John is holding, taken at his 5th grade graduation, he proudly displayed a sign that read "Future Fire Fighter." Today, that dream has become a reality.

Not only has John graduated from high school, but he has also successfully completed the Firefighter/EMS Program at the Calvert County Career & Technology Academy, demonstrating his dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving others.

John has already become a valued member of our department, and we couldn't be more proud of the young man he has become. His determination to set a goal and achieve it is an inspiration to all of us.

Please join us in congratulating John on his outstanding accomplishments and wishing him continued success as he begins the next chapter of his journey.

This year America celebrates an incredible milestone! 250 years of freedom, pride, and patriotism! What better way to honor our country, our veterans, and our community than with a yard full of American flags?

The SLVFD Company 7 Alarmers are excited and proud to bring you Flag My Yard Fundraiser. We’d love to see flags waving all across our community this summer!

For just $25, our volunteers will place 20 American flags in your yard before Flag Day or the 4th of July. Bigger displays are also available!

Every flag purchased helps the SLVFD Company 7 Alarmers continue supporting the St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department and the volunteers who serve our community.

Let’s make our community shine with patriotism this summer! ❤️🤍💙
