Stefanie Carey Barone is the Mutual Elementary School Volunteer of the Year.

Out of 4000 plus volunteers across the school district, one volunteer from each school is annually selected for the recognition. Stefanie is proud to serve as the PTA President.

Sponsor spotlight time! We are grateful for the support of GROVER PLACE, a valued sponsor of our PTA. As a familiar destination for many Mutual ES students, we appreciate the Grovers and their team for their continued commitment to the well-being and development of our local youth.

The MES PTA is pleased to have sponsored Evan and Harrison Brewer's GAGA pit project, which played a role in their earning of the Eagle Scout rank.

Logan Caudle, Elliott Brockinton, and Charlotte Brockinton also contributed to the project. Other participating scouts included Ty Cherry, Andrew Nasitka, and Landon York.

The GAGA pit addition to the school playground has proven to be a favorite among the children, highlighting the value of teamwork and collaboration.

The school's Multicultural Night was a highly enjoyable and educational experience. It provided a unique opportunity for students to learn about various countries around the globe, from Hungary to Haiti. The event featured a range of engaging performances, such as dancing, singing, and interactive games. And not to mention, the book fair!

The PTA would like to express its gratitude to School Board Member Lisa Grenis for attending.

Exciting things are happening at Mutual Elementary School - CCPS tomorrow!

As the school gears up for Multicultural Night and Book Fair Family Night (5/13/26; 5-7 pm), we would be remiss if we did not recognize one of our dedicated sponsors, Black Belt Academy of Prince Frederick. BBA PF has been a wonderful supporter of the MES PTA and in particular, Multicultural Night! Thank you BBA PF!
