Summer Reading Program Kickoff Party
Friday, May 29 @ 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
☀️ Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets and sunscreen as families of all ages meet outdoors on the library lawn to enjoy fun outdoor activities (bounce house slide, crafts, bubbles), performers (balloon art/magician), and free treats for the whole family!

🍧🍔 Swing by for free Kona Ice or visit the CUTX Community Grill at 10:30 a.m. as they give out free chicken sandwiches with BBQ sauce, chips, and drinks to the first 300 guests while supplies last.

📌All are welcome to this free, come-and-go event!

📣 BREAKING NEWS: Our Reserves Shelf has moved! It's now located by our East entrance doors near the Children's section.

Patrons are now welcome to swing by during open library hours to pick up their reserved items! Just look for your last name and head to our Self Check Out stations to check out with your library card.

📚 Reserved Items are gathered every morning before opening hours, organized alphabetically by last name and held for 5 days! Patrons will be notified through text or email and can pick up their items in-person or through Curbside Service Pickup: https://www.cityofsachse.com/918/Curbside-Service-Pickup

📌 InterLibrary Loan items will still be held at the front desk, so please find your last name on the Reserves Shelf to pick up a temporary place holder to bring to us!

These kits check out for 3 weeks and are limited to 1 kit per family, recommended for ages 16+, and located by our "STEAM Kits" shelf in the Children's area. 🚂

Adults and teens ages 14+ are welcome to join us in a monthly step-by-step instruction class on how to take part in different hobbies. No registration needed, it's first come, first served and while limited supplies last. ✏️ This month, we’ll be learning the basics of charcoal drawing!
